John Durrell and
Peter Hodgson formed the company in 1981, the name deriving from the proximity of the office to the River Medina and the technical nature of the services provided, hence MedTec. MedTec has established a track record with major companies on a variety of projects both in the UK and overseas. We aim to provide a design, draughting and engineering service to organisations who lack their own in-house facilities, and a back-up service to those whose own staff are overloaded - a flexible workforce available at a moment’s notice to support the engineering community. MedTec provides a reliable and competitive service from its Cowes office, and is always ready to allocate staff to work in clients’ own offices at any location. We have always sought to keep pace with technology and we are constantly updating our systems to ensure the best service is provided.
